Hidden bids should be completely enforced anyway - I cannot see any benefit to either party of seeing other bids (except to undercut, which as we've established is not the way to win work!)

I agree there should be no deadline but there should probably be an auto-expire limit, just so old projects "die" after X amount of time

Some websites only allow bidders from specified regions, this is a must.
